A Dreamy Day | Kenzie and Chris

Dreamy is the only word to describe the Wheeler’s big day! Right down to the last detail, start-to-finish, the day was stunning, full of love… and just darn dreamy. You are going to be so in love with this sweet couple, and their day!

Dreamy Details

From the minute Kenzie and her girls walked into the Farmhouse the morning of the wedding, we knew it would be a perfect day! They were just so excited to be there and celebrate together- it was infectious. Then, their team of incredible vendors arrived and worked some magic, and WOW. Every touch that Kenzie and Chris chose was so thoughtful and was exactly what they had imagined. From the boys’ custom suit lining, a pie table (who wouldn’t love that) and a cake to-die-for- it was all perfect!

Showstoppers

It was a stunning January wedding, with the most gorgeous weather for an outdoor ceremony. The sun was setting behind the gorgeous ceremony tree, and added the perfect glow for their celebration. They did have a couple of show-stoppers traipse down the aisle to let Chris know his bride was on her way. Let’s just say, those little ring bearers and flower girls always make for some lighthearted moments. After this amazing couple got married, they partied their hearts out with the ones they love most and made their getaway in our pink vintage car, Lucy!

It was a beautiful, beautiful celebration of love! We couldn’t be happier for the new Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler! Congrats you two!!

Become a French Farmhouse couple!

Summer Lovin’ | Briana + Noah

In honor of the incredible weather we had this past weekend, we are throwing it back to a gorgeous summer wedding. Briana and Noah got married last summer here at the French Farmhouse, and WOW. They had the most beautiful summer wedding with stunning bright, warm colors. You are all going to be obsessed with their day!

Summer Lovin’

Briana and Noah are two of the sweetest people around. Their day really showed how kind, and in love, they are. One thing we absolutely loved is that they were not afraid to embrace their summertime day. Often, we have couples come in that are concerned about the heat of a Texas summer. But, Briana and Noah are the perfect example of how great a warm-weather wedding can be. They fully embraced summer colors, and the gorgeous sunshine, to have a beautiful day with all of their friends and family.

Party & Details

To go along with their bright colors, the new Mr. and Mrs. Vice added some AMAZING moments and details to their day. They had framed photos at each table, that highlighted some great times throughout their relationship, and a gorgeous and modern wedding altar. They also had the coolest neon sign peeking through behind Briana as she walked down the aisle. These details are always so fun for your guests to stroll around and see during your reception.

However, we have to say. Once the party started, this crew knew how to throw down. Some groups aren’t big on dancing, however this squad was the opposite. Almost every single person was hyped to move and grove, and boy did it lead to some fun shots for the Vice’s to look back on.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Vice!

Stunning Vision Brought to Life | Jessica-Michelle and Michael

Jessica-Michelle and Michael’s big day was nothing short of absolutely amazing. They had an incredible team that came in and executed their stunning vision. The attention to detail and the special touches throughout are jaw-dropping. You will not believe how creative they were in designing their big day.

A True Vision

From the moment we had the chance to meet Jessica-Michelle and Michael, we knew their day would be nothing short of spectacular. They really knew what they wanted, and had amazing ideas of how to utilize the Farmhouse in ways we hadn’t seen before. Starting with their beautiful ceremony in front of the Farmhouse. This was our first ceremony that was right on the front steps of the venue, and we are OBSESSED. It was so picturesque with the sunset casting that golden light we all love right over the guests with their beautiful flower arch framing the front door. Can you believe that the arch is just a taste of the rest of their flowers? Unreal.

Their ceremony was so beautiful, and they created special moments within it for themselves. Because they were right at the door, they chose to take a private moment to light their unity candle, away from the eyes of their guests. It was a really beautiful moment for them to cherish for years to come. Once they lit their candle, they came out and made their marriage official- just in time to start the party!

Something for Everyone

You will not believe how much time, and attention to detail there was in this day. Jessica-Michelle and Michael really pulled out all the stops and had something for everyone at their reception. Because their wedding ceremony was out front, they made use of every part of the venue in a fun and unique way. They created a beautiful lounge on the lawn in the back, for guests to mix and mingle away from the dance floor. Outside they had a cotton candy machine, a bar and a charcuterie board big enough to write home about. Their insanely beautiful florals continued inside to the party area and surrounded their sweetheart’s table. While they were making their exit to “Lucy” the pink getaway car, there were firework fountains going off. Making every last moment special and memorable for them as well as their guests.

Congrats to Jessica-Michelle and Michael! We are so happy for you two and so thankful you are forever a Farmhouse Couple!

Elegant Extravaganza | Claire and Greg

We cannot stress enough just how amazing our couples are. You guys are probably tired of hearing about how great everyone that steps through our doors are, but wow. They really just are. Claire and Greg are no exception! They are the sweetest couple, and created the most beautiful day at the Farmhouse. We are OBSESSED with their elegant day, and know that you will be too.

Timeless Elegance

Every inch of Claire and Greg’s day was so stunning, and had a beautiful timeless elegance about it. Everything was gorgeous, and exuded everything they said they wanted in a day. We love seeing indoor ceremonies, it is always a special occasion and so fun to see how everyone decorates it- especially with the flip! If you do decide to have an indoor ceremony, and require a flip to recepetion, we do require that you have a planner or day-of coordinator, that has an assistant. They, along with our staff, will take about 45 minutes and flip from ceremony to reception while your guests are at cocktail hour on the porch/ turf.

Get the Party Going

We are always shocked at just how…atheletic… people can get at a wedding reception. Just when we think we have seen it all, someone comes in an surprises us. Really, we have seen more ripped trousers than we can count, somersaulting grandpa’s, and a whole lotta people being thrown in the air. But, at Claire and Greg’s reception, we saw legit backflips. 10/10 gold medal for that guest!

A Modern Flare | Savanna and Matt

We can finally share the Keppel wedding!! Savanna and Matt are some of the nicest people around, and their day was so so special and stunning. So classic, with a modern flare. Stunning. We could not be more thankful they are a Farmhouse couple, and we are so excited to share their day with you guys!

A Modern Flare

The Kepple’s had a beautiful and timeless day, each detail was so so gorgeous. It was so fun to see it all come together throughout setup. We really loved that they had a subtle modern flare on top of their classic scheme. Plus, they added some FUN details to their reception. Not only did they give out custom drink koozies to everyone, but they had a full-blown cookie table! A crowd-pleasing touch, I gotta say!

The Ceremony

Matt and Savanna’s ceremony was GORGEOUS. Every moment was so full of love and simple touches that put their day over the top. One of my favorite things is to see how brides and grooms decorate the two-becoming-one tree. There is so much you can do with it, or just leave it as is. The way the Kepple’s added a chandelier and the columns… *stunning*

Congratulations Matt and Savanna!

A Touch of Home | Amanda and Chris

The Kauffman’s came ready to roll with pieces from home! Amanda and Chris were such a treat, and really did the most. Their day was stunning, and full of little pieces from home. We love seeing how our incredible couples bring their day to life, and what special touches are important to them.

All the Way From…

Every single couple that walks through our doors has a great story, and we love to hear them. Amanda and Chris really threw a curveball at us when they said they came all the way from Wisonsin to get married at the Farmhouse. I mean… come on. That is pure dedication. They definitely were not letting your Wedding Day Dreams, be dreams. There are things from home they really wanted for their wedding, and one of those things was some Wisconsin Beer. How cool is that? Not only is it personal to them, but a really fun way to spice up their bar with some “comfort food” on the menu.

All Out

The past few weeks we have shared blogs about couples that went all out on their florals, and the Kauffman’s are no different. Just take a look at their ceremony decorations! WOW. The pampas… enough said. Plus, that floral wall in the reception area. *Chef’s kiss* In addition to the florals, they had a gorgeous dessert table. Look at that spread. Looks like a good wedding to be at, if you ask me. Another fun touch Amanda threw in for her and her girls, was putting them all in fun boots. Just a small comfort touch, that no one will see, but you will know is there.

Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Kauffman! We are so grateful to have you guys as a Farmhouse Couple, and are so happy you came all the way to Texas to have your wedding here.

Working for the Shot | Kylie and Clay

We never get tired of sharing incredible weddings with you guys, and this one definitely doesn’t disappoint. Kylie and Clay are the best, and their day was so fun, and stunning, their guests will look back and have some amazing memories from their day. You’re going to love it!

The Porch

One of the coolest parts of a wedding venue is seeing how each couple transforms the space. We get to be a part of their first steps in planning, we get to hear about what they see their wedding looking like in the venue. Then, we get to see that come to life months later. It is so special. Kyle and Clay decided on a porch wedding, and WOW. Ceremonies on the porch are so unique, and cozy. Since the porch can only hold 150 guests, it automatically feels like a really intimate event. They decked out the mantel with incredible florals and had a stunning ceremony.

Get the Shot

Kylie is a girl after our own hearts. The girl will do anything to get the shot. Even if that means hopping a fence in her wedding dress to get a picture in front of Steve’s longhorns. Kylie and her crew really did the most and made use of every angle of the Farmhouse and every inch of the grounds. Not only did she get some beautiful shots, but she got some shots from spots and angles we hadn’t seen before. Amazing!!

Florals and a Full House | Maddy and Braden

The new Mr. and Mrs. Hague know how to plan a celebration. This whole wedding, start to finish, was so stunning. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any more beautiful during the set-up, another special touch would show up. We are SO excited to be able to show you guys Maddy and Braden’s big day.

The Florals

From the moment we met Maddy and Braden, we know their day would be special. They put so much thought and love into choosing every piece of their day, and it shows. It is so cool to see how each couple transforms the venue, and the Hague’s didn’t disappoint. They chose stunning and bright colors, that lit up the entire venue and the ceremony site- we are obsessed. Their florals were so incredible and added so much to their decor. I mean, look at how they had their aisle lined for their outdoor ceremony. So so spectacular. (shout out to Platinum Petals in Dallas! Incredible team, and incredible work.) Seeing everyone walk down the aisle through the flowers, while the Dallas String Quartet played, was beautiful. Live music at the ceremony is a special touch.

Brought out the Works

Maddy and Braden created such a fun experience for their guests! From moving the greenery wall into the foyer for the photo booth to a bar outside and Bubbles and Brews on site- they really thought of it all, and brought out the works. Seeing their vision come to life was such a treat, and we couldn’t be more thankful they chose the French Farmhouse for their big day. Congratulations to the Hagues!

Aggie Party | Paige and Cade

It is always a great day at the Farmhouse when we have an Aggie couple in the building. Paige and Cade were a blast in a glass. They really know how to throw a great party, and their friends and family know how to enjoy a great party. Every minute of this day was amazing.

It’s All About You

Paige and Cade did an amazing job of making sure each part of their day, was exactly what they wanted. They really put their personalities into everything, which is the best. Some couple’s really want to make sure everyone is happy, and end up compromising some things that they really wanted. It truly is all about you two, so if your man and his boys want to wear boots and jeans- go for it. Just make sure that it is you! Plus, look at the tiny men of the ceremony in their boots and jeans. TOO CUTE.

Party Hard

This group knew how to throw down. It really is a rarity to find a group where everyone will jump onto the dance floor, and go as hard as this group did. Every. Single.Person. Was hyped, and ready to celebrate the new Mr. and Mrs. Edland. It was so special to see, and a blast. Not to mention, there are a whole bunch of photos of their favorite people getting down on the dance floor, that will surely make them laugh and smile every time they look back on them.

Unplugged Porch Wedding | Kevin and Allison

Mr. and Mrs. Mendez! What a special day at the Farmhouse. Kevin and Allison had a beautiful, and unplugged, wedding full of love, laughter and so much warmth. You will love every part of their day, just as much as we do.

Details, People!

I am sure everyone is tired of hearing about how special the details of our couple’s weddings are. But, we just can’t stop talking about them. It is the best to see what each couple’s “special touches” are, and what they are excited about. Allison is a really really fun person, and it totally shows in the hidden gems she added to her wedding day. For starters, she wore socks with her pup’s face on them… does it get any more fun than that? She also paired them with her All-Star’s. We love that she rocked some comfortable sneakers with her dress. Made it that much easier for her to dance all night long. She also had an amazing “guest book.” Guests got to sign hearts and drop them in so that they can display it and see everyone that was at their wedding.

Unplugged on the Porch

Kevin and Allison’s ceremony was beautiful. They decided on a porch wedding, which is such a great option. We may be biased, but the porch is just so stunning, cozy and intimate. If you have less than 150 guests, we definitely recommend considering a porch wedding. Another amazing thing the Mendez’s decided on was an “unplugged ceremony.” Basically, they asked their guests to not use their phones to take pictures or videos during the ceremony. Not only does it force everyone to be present and actually listen to the ceremony, but it makes your professional pictures clean. There won’t be any rogue iPhones being held up, blocking any amazing shots. It is such a simple request, that changes so much!
