What is the maximum amount of people The French Farmhouse can accommodate?
Our venue will hold up to 250 of your guests.
Do you have the option to do an outside ceremony and an indoor reception?
Yes! We have several outdoor ceremony options. Inside option for 150 guests and under on our covered patio. Inside reception area, which requires a flip.
How many tables and chairs are available to use?
We include 250 white garden chairs for outdoor ceremony, 250 indoor French cross back chairs, 250 white chiavari chairs at the Chapel, 10 French Farmhouse tables and 20 (60-inch) round tables for 250 guests. We will provide setup and tear down of your tables and chairs. You will just need to get us your floor plan 30 days out from wedding day.
Are you open to working with vendors not on your preferred list?
Yes! We are open to outside vendors, we can also provide you with a list of preferred vendors!
How many other events will take place the day of our event?
We believe in only hosting one event per day.
Do you provide linens, decor, or any tableware?
We do not provide linens, decor or tableware. Contact Kelsey for suggested vendors.
Is a wedding coordinator included in our rental package, and or required?
No, we do not include a wedding coordinator in your package at this time. However, there will be a venue manager on-site throughout the duration of your event. We highly recommend a day-of coordinator, at the minimum. Contact Kelsey for day-of suggestions.
Are we allowed to have fireworks or sparklers for send off?
Yes! All sparklers must be properly extinguished into a sand bucket provided by the venue. Fireworks are permitted, and must be provided by a insured company such as Pyrotex.
How does clean up work at the venue?
We ask that your caterers bus all tables, and that your bartenders and caterers throw away all trash in the provided trash cans. You will take all your belongings that you brought in on the day of the wedding. After you leave, a cleaning crew will come and deep clean and put all tables away.
Do you have on-site parking and do our guest have to pay to park?
Yes, we have a on-site parking for 250 guests and your additional vendors and a circle drive for drop off!
Will we need to have security at our wedding?
Yes. The French Farmhouse will hire security, but the couple is required to pay $300 in cash on the day of your wedding to the security officer.
Are pets allowed at The French Farmhouse?
Yes, they are allowed to be a part of your ceremony and outside but are not allowed in The French Farmhouse Venue.
Can we take bridal or engagement photos before our event?
Yes! We include one private complimentary 2-hour bridal or engagement photo session on our property in your package. Please schedule your time by emailing info@thefrenchfarmhousevenue.com.
Do you allow brides or couples who are not getting married at The French Farmhouse to take pictures there?
Yes! If you are interested in scheduling a photography session with us and you are not a current client please email us for venue availability to info@thefrenchfarmhousevenue.com
Do you allow for candles?
Yes, however all candles must have at least 2 inches of glass over the wick.
Do you include a sound system and microphones?
We only provide a house sound system included and will only allow it to be used during the cocktail hour and during the day for atmosphere music. We have a list of preferred DJ’s and bands that can provide sound for your event and highly recommend their services. We also do not include microphones. Any of our preferred DJ’s and bands can supply additional mics for your event.
How do rehearsals work at The French Farmhouse?
Due to hosting weddings and events Tuesday – Sunday, we cannot guarantee a day before rehearsal. However, if no wedding is taking place the night before your wedding, you can do a 1 hr walkthrough the night before.
If we want to add on contract time at the end, are we allowed and how much would it cost?
We allow our clients to add up to two additional hours at the end of their contract time. Each hour added on will be an additional $500.00. The bar will still close by 11 p.m., no exceptions unfortunately.
Do you extend discounts to active military, first responders, or teachers?
Yes! We happily extend a $200 discount only to the couple if they are current active military, first responders, and teachers. Proof of current service must be presented upon booking in order to receive the discount.
Will Uber or Lyft pick up or drop off our guests?
Unfortunately, these services are not a reliable form of transportation in Mountain Springs, Texas. Please arrange transportation for your guests or let them know to organize another method of travel. If you would like any vendor recommendations for car services, please see our preferred vendor list.
Are our guests allowed to smoke or use e-cigs?
Yes, we have two designated areas outside for your guests; however, we are a non-smoking facility inside, including e-cigs. Please make sure all guests are made aware of our designated areas in the front and back of the venue. We will provide two smoking poles for your guests to extinguish their cigarettes.
How do I secure my date?
To book your date please reach out to Kelsey at Kelsey@TheFrenchFarmhouseVenue.com. You will pay 25% of your contracted fee and a $500 refundable deposit.
Is there a security deposit?
Yes, we require a $500 Security deposit for The Venue.
What are your preferred methods of payment?
