Real Wedding
Corynn & CJ
August 28, 2026 · The French Farmhouse Venue, Collinsville, TX
Some weddings stop you in your tracks. Corynn and CJ's August 28th celebration was one of those days — a vision in dusty blue and white that felt like it was pulled straight from a dream. From the moment guests arrived to the last note played by the Jordan Kahn Orchestra, every detail was intentional, every corner breathtaking.
The stationery suite set the tone perfectly — a custom illustrated invitation featuring the chapel, blue hydrangeas, and gold wax seals. That same palette carried through every element of the day: the bridesmaids' light blue pajamas during the morning of, the lush blue and white floral arrangements by Vintage and Vine Florals cascading down the chapel aisle, and the elegant lounge furniture dressed in soft blue and cream for the reception.
The chapel was nothing short of stunning. Vintage and Vine Florals transformed the space with floor-level arrangements of blue delphinium, white ranunculus, and lush greenery lining the entire aisle, and a full floral arch framing the antique gate at the altar. With the soaring windows and golden chandeliers as the backdrop, it was a ceremony setting that left every guest speechless.
The processional — captured from above by The Lockaharts — is one of those images that will live on forever. Corynn walked down the aisle to a full house of standing guests, her cathedral veil trailing behind her as she made her way to CJ waiting at the altar. The Jordan Kahn Orchestra kept the energy alive from cocktail hour through the last dance, filling the venue with music that had every guest on their feet.
As the sun set over the property, Corynn and CJ slipped away for portraits in front of the chapel — the warm golden light wrapping around them as they stood together in front of the steeple. It's the kind of moment that reminds you why this venue was built. The evening ended with the couple making their getaway in a classic vintage car from DFW Vintage Cars, waving goodbye to a night none of their guests will ever forget.
Cocktail Hour
Guests spilled out onto the pavilion for cocktail hour, greeted by the blue bar, crystal chandeliers, and passed bruschetta from Catered Roots TX. The custom monogrammed cups — filled with spicy margaritas — were an instant hit and a keepsake guests took home at the end of the night.
The Reception
When the doors opened to the reception hall, guests were met with a breathtaking blue and white world. Long harvest tables dressed in BBJ La Tavola's damask linens, blue Louis XVI chairs, and towering blue delphinium and white hydrangea centerpieces stretched the length of the room. The Jordan Kahn Orchestra set up on the blue stage, and the dance floor was packed all night long.
