Real Wedding · March 2026
Janie & Jake
March 20, 2026 · The French Farmhouse Venue · Collinsville, Texas
There are weddings that feel like a breath of fresh air and Janie and Jake's March 20th celebration was exactly that. Spring had just arrived at The French Farmhouse Venue, and it felt like the whole property was dressed up just for them. Soft pinks, warm yellows, and every cheerful color of the season filled every corner of the day.
From the moment guests arrived, the energy was warm and joyful. The florals set the tone immediately lush arrangements in blush, peach, butter yellow, and cream that felt like a garden in full bloom. It was the kind of palette that makes you want to slow down and take it all in.
What made this wedding especially sweet was the love that surrounded Janie and Jake every step of the way. Janie's mom and grandmother were right by her side through every detail of the planning process and Grandma didn't just show up on the big day, she left her mark on it. She personally designed the dance floor, and it was absolutely stunning. That kind of love poured into a wedding day is something you can feel in every corner of the room.
The Morning Of
The morning started exactly the way you'd hope surrounded by the people who love you most. Janie and her girls got ready in our bridal suite, and the whole space was filled with laughter, happy tears, and the kind of joy that only comes from a room full of your closest people. The butter-yellow pajamas the bridesmaids wore were the perfect touch cheerful and bright, just like the day ahead.
Three generations Janie with her mom and grandmother, matching in the sweetest floral pajamas.
Grandma's first look with Janie said everything words couldn't. Pure love, pure joy, and a moment nobody in that room will ever forget.
Grandma's reaction says it all. Pure love.

The girls on the balcony one of our favorite shots of the whole day.
Jake, ready and looking sharp. That bow tie, those cufflinks he was dressed for the best day of his life.
Meanwhile, Jake was getting ready in the groom's suite calm, collected, and looking absolutely sharp in his classic black tuxedo. The contrast of his morning and Janie's is always one of our favorite things about wedding days. Two people, in two different rooms, both counting down the minutes until they see each other.
The Sweetest Ceremony
The chapel was absolutely breathtaking. Have & Hold Studio filled the antique arch with the most lush, colorful florals pinks, peaches, blues, and creams cascading all the way to the floor on both sides. The light poured in through the soaring windows, and the whole room felt like a dream. Janie's bridesmaids lined the altar in their butter-yellow halter gowns, each holding the most gorgeous mixed bouquets, and the whole scene was just stunning.

The vows. Just the two of them, holding hands, in the most beautiful light.
The bridesmaids in butter yellow those bouquets, those dresses, that light. Perfection.
The first kiss. Surrounded by blooms, in front of everyone they love. Mr. & Mrs. Rehfuss.
And then the bell. One of our absolute favorite French Farmhouse traditions. Janie and Jake grabbed that rope together and rang it with everything they had, surrounded by their entire wedding party, all laughing and cheering. It's one of those moments that never gets old, no matter how many times we see it.
The bell ring pure joy. This moment never gets old.
Announced as Mr. & Mrs. Rehfuss and that recessional dip with petals flying everywhere. Two of the best frames of the whole day.

Janie walked down the aisle of our chapel to a room full of people who love her and Jake deeply. The ceremony was tender and personal full of laughter, a few happy tears, and vows that felt like they were written just for this moment. The antique arch was dressed in spring blooms, and the light streaming through the cathedral windows made everything glow.
When they rang the bell and walked back down that aisle as husband and wife, the whole room erupted. That moment never gets old.
Spring Colors in Every Detail
The reception hall was a dream. Long tables draped in soft linens, centerpieces overflowing with seasonal blooms, and warm candlelight that made the whole room feel like golden hour all night long. The pink and yellow color story carried through every detail from the cake to the stationery to the bridesmaid dresses.
It was one of those weddings where you could feel how much thought and love went into every single choice. Nothing was an accident. Everything was intentional, beautiful, and so very them.
Cocktail Hour
Drinks, Apps & Good Company
While Janie and Jake slipped away for portraits, their guests headed out to the pavilion for cocktail hour and Chuy's Mexican Food did not disappoint. Chips, queso, salsa, and all the good stuff kept everyone happy and mingling in the spring sunshine. The pavilion looked absolutely dreamy with the white draping catching the breeze, and the whole vibe was relaxed, joyful, and exactly right.
Guests making their way to the pavilion that spring light was absolutely perfect.
Remi's Ranch Water and Breck's Bourbon Old Fashioned named after their dogs, obviously. And Chuy's Mexican Food chips & queso bar? Guests were going back for thirds.
The Reception
Dancing, Toasts & Club Rehfuss
The reception was everything and then some. Janie and Jake were announced as Mr. & Mrs. Rehfuss and stepped onto the most stunning custom dance floor we've ever seen: a hand-painted floral crest with their monogram right in the center. Then came the toasts, the cake cutting under the crystal chandelier in the farmhouse, the mother-son dance, the father-daughter dance and somewhere in the middle of all of it, Janie's grandpa surprised her on the dance floor. The video went viral on Instagram, and honestly, it's not hard to see why. By the end of the night, they had a dress change, the trucker hats were on, and Club Rehfuss was officially open.
Pure joy from start to finish.
The Moment That Stopped the Room
A Surprise Dance with Grandpa
Nobody saw it coming. In the middle of the reception, Janie's grandpa stepped onto the dance floor and surprised her with a dance. The video went viral on Instagram, and it's easy to see why. Watch grandma in the background, hands clasped over her mouth, completely overcome. It's the kind of moment that reminds you why we do this. Tissues recommended.
He surprised her on the dance floor. The whole room stopped.
The whole family watching. This is what it's all about.
Grandma in the background. We can't. We absolutely cannot.
The cake cutting nook in the farmhouse is one of our favorite spots on the property.
Club Rehfuss is officially open. We love a couple that comes prepared.
The Details
So Many Amazing Details Went Into This Day
When we say every single detail was intentional, we mean it. From the welcome sign at the door to the monogrammed tambourines on every plate, Janie and Jake's wedding was a masterclass in thoughtful design. The blue glassware, the pink place cards, the gold flatware, the bud vases overflowing with seasonal blooms it all came together in the most cohesive, joyful way.
The welcome sign set the tone before guests even walked through the door and that stationery suite? Absolutely dreamy.
Table ten blue goblets, pink votives, gold candlesticks, and a photo table number. Every single table looked like this.
The fireplace mantel draped in blooms, and a full ground floral installation at the head table. Have & Hold Studio absolutely outdid themselves.
This floral column against the chapel windows the light, the blooms, the greenery. One of the most beautiful installations we've ever seen in this space.
"Our Favorite People" the sweetest seating chart. The J&G monogram bar facade. And those spicy margs? Guests were talking about them all night.
A monogrammed tambourine at every place setting and "Club Rehfuss" trucker hats for the dance floor. This couple knew how to throw a party.
Late Night Snack
Pizza on the Dance Floor
Because every great wedding ends with a slice. Janie grabbed a piece straight from the box drink in hand, ring sparkling, sequin mini dress on.
Drink in hand, ring sparkling, pizza in the other. She did not miss a beat.
Private Last Dance
Just the Two of Them
After the guests cleared out, Janie and Jake had one last dance all to themselves in the empty reception hall chandeliers still glowing, candles still burning, their custom dance floor beneath their feet. This is one of those moments we always encourage couples to carve out. No one watching. No timeline. Just the two of you, alone in the room where you just got married.
The room is empty. The night is theirs. We will never get tired of this moment.
The Send-Off
Confetti, Cheers & a Vintage Plymouth
The send-off was pure energy. Guests lined the path with silver confetti wands, and Janie and Jake came out of those farmhouse doors absolutely beaming hands raised, laughing, completely in it. Then they climbed into a vintage Plymouth with "Just Married" painted across the back window and drove off into the Texas night. We couldn't have written a better ending. Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Rehfuss. We love you both so much.
A vintage Plymouth, a Texas night sky, and "Just Married" on the windshield. Perfect.
A Night to Remember
The dance floor was full from the first song to the last. Janie and Jake were surrounded by their people all night laughing, dancing, and soaking in every single second.
Janie and Jake thank you for choosing The French Farmhouse Venue to be the backdrop for the sweetest day. We are so honored to have been part of your story, and we cannot wait to watch your marriage bloom just as beautifully as those spring florals.
Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Rehfuss we love you both so much!
