Kara & Anthony
The French Farmhouse Venue · Collinsville, Texas
On January 17, 2026, Kara and Anthony Marquardt had the most incredible winter wedding at The French Farmhouse Venue. From The Grand Poppy’s breathtaking white and green florals to Highland cattle and a mini donkey roaming cocktail hour, a Whataburger late-night snack, and DJ Question Mark keeping the dance floor going all night — this wedding had absolutely everything. We are so honored to have been part of their day.
And it wasn’t just a wedding — it was a full weekend celebration. Kara and Anthony made sure every single guest felt taken care of from the moment they arrived, with a seamless transportation plan courtesy of ECS Transportation Group and an entire weekend stay at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Denton Convention Center. This is how you do a wedding weekend.

Getting Ready
Kara got ready in the bridal suite with Tea Set to Please working their magic on hair and makeup. That strapless ballgown was absolutely stunning — and the moment her mom buttoned her up in front of the gilded mirror? Pure magic.
First Look
Kara and Anthony shared their first look inside the reception hall — the floor-to-ceiling windows, the crystal chandeliers, and the soft winter light made for the most romantic backdrop. The look on Anthony’s face said everything.
The Bridal Party
The bridesmaids looked absolutely gorgeous in their blush satin gowns, and the groomsmen were sharp in navy suits with blush bow ties — Anthony front and center in his signature cream cowboy hat. What a stunning group.
The Chapel Ceremony
The chapel was absolutely breathtaking. The Grand Poppy created the most stunning white and green floral arch around the antique arch — lush greenery cascading down both sides with white hydrangeas, roses, and delphinium. With the soaring wood beam ceilings and the bare winter trees framing the floor-to-ceiling windows behind them, it was a January ceremony unlike anything we’ve ever seen.
Cocktail Hour
Cocktail hour at Kara and Anthony’s wedding was one for the books. Guests mingled on the pavilion grounds with Professional Partiers behind the bar and Catered Roots keeping everyone fed — but the real stars of the show? A mini donkey and a fluffy Highland cow from Bartholds Bovines and Silverado Ranch, both adorned with eucalyptus baskets, roaming the lawn and stealing every single heart. We have never seen guests smile so big.
The Reception
Kara and Anthony made the most epic grand entrance — hands raised, the whole room erupting. DJ Question Mark had the Inkredible dance floor packed from the very first song. Cake Ladies TX delivered a showstopping cake, and yes — there was a Whataburger late-night snack. Because of course there was. What a perfect night.
