Kylee & Connor Gerdes
If there was ever a wedding that felt like stepping into a summer garden in full bloom, it was Kylee and Connor’s. Every single detail — from the hand-painted stationery to the custom floral dance floor — was thoughtfully designed, joyfully executed, and absolutely breathtaking from start to finish.
The Details That Set the Tone
The stationery suite alone told you everything you needed to know about this wedding. Printed on a custom blue toile tablecloth backdrop, the invitation featured hand-painted wildflowers — coral ranunculus, yellow cosmos, blue forget-me-nots, and trailing vines — framing the names Kylee Brooke Moore and Connor Allen Gerdes in a soft sage green script. A cane-lined envelope with a monogram crest, a mint green dress code card requesting formal attire, and a charming boot-shaped wooden welcome dinner card for Haywire in Plano rounded out the suite. Scattered alongside: gold chain jewelry, a diamond engagement ring, wedding bands, and a bottle of Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia cologne — every detail intentional, every detail gorgeous.
Getting Ready with Her Girls
Kylee was surrounded by eleven of her closest people on the morning of her wedding, and the energy was absolutely electric. Her bridesmaids wore matching blue and white seersucker stripe ruffle sets — square-neck tops with ruffle cap sleeves and matching ruffle shorts — paired with white slide sandals. Kylee stood out in a crisp white off-shoulder top and white lace-trim shorts, her long blonde waves perfectly styled. The whole crew gathered outside the venue’s iconic white facade for a group photo that is pure, unfiltered joy.
The Dress
Inside our bridal suite — with its shiplap walls, warm wood floors, and collection of ornate gold-framed mirrors — Kylee slipped into a stunning strapless ballgown with a structured bodice and a sweeping cathedral train. Her mother, radiant in a strapless pink floral brocade gown with dramatic full skirt, stood behind her fastening the final buttons. The reflection in the oversized gilded mirror captured everything: the gown’s clean elegance, the emotion of the moment, and the beauty of our bridal suite doing exactly what it was designed to do.
Arriving to Something Special
Guests were greeted at the entrance by a white wooden cross bursting with a wildflower arrangement — coral garden roses, yellow ranunculus, orange carnations, pink snapdragons, blue thistle, and lush greenery. Beside it, a powder blue scalloped welcome sign hung in a white metal frame, tied with two striped grosgrain ribbon bows. The sign featured their custom monogram crest surrounded by hand-painted florals and read: “Kylee & Connor · June 14, 2026 · We’re so glad you’re here!” — setting the warmest possible tone for the day ahead.
The Ceremony
The chapel was absolutely transformed. Our soaring cathedral ceilings, exposed wood beams, and floor-to-ceiling windows looking out onto the tree canopy provided the most breathtaking backdrop — and the florals took it to another level entirely. The ornate white arch was draped in cascading greenery with bursts of coral, orange, yellow, blue, and pink blooms. Along the aisle, low garden arrangements in the same vibrant palette lined every row of white Chiavari chairs. Bridesmaids in powder blue strapless satin gowns stood opposite groomsmen in khaki suits with blue ties — and at the altar, Kylee and Connor exchanged vows in front of a room full of people who love them.
The Reception
The reception hall was a garden dream. Round tables were dressed in powder blue linen with natural crossback wood chairs and white cushions. Tall mercury glass pedestal vases held towering arrangements of blue hydrangeas, pink garden roses, coral poppies, yellow ranunculus, and lush greenery. Long farm tables in the background were lined with lower garden arrangements and votives, creating a warm, candlelit glow throughout the room. Place settings featured scalloped white charger plates with sage green napkins and gold flatware — every detail cohesive, considered, and stunning.
The Dance Floor
The custom painted dance floor was a showstopper. Hand-painted with their monogram crest at center — surrounded by a garden of tulips, poppies, forget-me-nots, and wildflowers in coral, pink, yellow, and blue — and bordered by a sage green lattice pattern, it was a true work of art. The aerial shot of their first dance dip says it all: Connor dipping Kylee into a kiss while the entire room erupts around them. Pure magic.
Signature Sips & the Party Look
The signature cocktails were as beautiful as everything else — served in custom frosted cups printed with their floral monogram crest. A pale pink watermelon margarita garnished with a watermelon wedge and cucumber, and a deep red berry margarita with a blackberry and lime, both rimmed with salt and served alongside a green floral monogram coaster and powder blue “Connor and Kylee” cocktail napkins. Every touchpoint branded, every detail cohesive.
And then — the party look. Kylee changed into a chic white halter mini dress with a high neck and open back, swapping her cathedral train for Veja sneakers. Connor shed his jacket for a crisp white button-down and khakis. Both donned matching white trucker hats and hit the dance floor for the rest of the night. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day — and proof that Kylee and Connor know exactly how to have a good time.
Congratulations, Kylee & Connor — what an honor it was to be part of your story.
