Macey & Brendan
May at The French Farmhouse Venue is something truly special — the grounds are lush, the light is golden, and the air carries just enough warmth to make everything feel like a dream. Macey and Brendan’s spring wedding was exactly that: warm, romantic, and filled with the kind of details that make you stop and take it all in.
Setting the Scene
The morning started in our bridal suite, where Macey’s gown and four dusty rose bridesmaid dresses hung side by side on a white clothing rack — a simple, beautiful image that set the tone for everything to come. The dresses were floor-length with delicate spaghetti straps, and Macey’s gown — a strapless A-line with a sweetheart neckline and a full skirt — was nothing short of stunning. Both from BB Lewisville, naturally.
Getting Ready
Beauty By Jessica worked her magic at the vanity while Macey sat in a white lace robe, her reflection glowing in the gold-framed mirrors that line our bridal suite walls. The room was filled with laughter, happy nerves, and the kind of quiet joy that only exists on a wedding morning. Her bridesmaids gathered on the tufted ivory sofa in matching dusty rose robes — all smiles, all together, all exactly where they were supposed to be.
The Bridal Party
Outside on the grounds, the bridal party came together for portraits in the soft spring light. Macey’s four bridesmaids wore their dusty rose gowns beautifully — floor-length, spaghetti-strapped, and perfectly coordinated with the lush white and blush bouquets crafted by Vine & Branches Gainesville. Macey stood among them radiant, her cathedral veil catching the breeze, her smile saying everything.
The Ceremony
The chapel was breathtaking. Our soaring cathedral ceilings, exposed wood beams, and floor-to-ceiling windows framed a ceremony that felt both grand and deeply intimate. White Chiavari chairs lined the aisle, flanked by lush all-white floral arrangements — garden roses, ranunculus, and trailing greenery — designed by Vine & Branches Gainesville. Crystal chandeliers cast a warm glow overhead as Macey made her way down the aisle toward Brendan, who stood waiting at the ornate white arch. The moment she appeared, the whole room held its breath.
And then — the dip. Brendan swept Macey into a kiss that had the entire room erupting. Her cathedral veil fanned out behind her in the most cinematic way, guests cheered, and Corinne Vaz Photography captured every second of it perfectly. It’s the kind of photo you frame and hang above the fireplace forever.
The Reception
The reception hall was dressed in soft whites, warm candlelight, and the most gorgeous florals. The sweetheart table was the centerpiece of the room — a white linen-draped table overflowing with a lush cascading arrangement of white garden roses, ranunculus, eucalyptus, and trailing greenery, flanked by tall gold candlesticks with white taper candles. It was romantic, elegant, and exactly the kind of tablescape that makes guests stop and stare. DJ Peter Kreta kept the energy going all night, while @mariachirodriguez serenaded guests during cocktail hour — a detail that had everyone talking.
The Party Look
Macey changed into a short white lace mini dress with delicate spaghetti straps — still from BB Lewisville, still absolutely perfect — and hit the dance floor with her arms in the air and the biggest smile on her face. The guests matched her energy completely. This is what a wedding reception is supposed to look like.
Congratulations, Macey & Brendan — we are so honored to have been part of your beautiful day.
