Florist Guidelines & Rules

Clean-Up:

Please take all flowers, greenery, vases, containers, and any other items you bring with you at the end of the night. Areas must be cleaned once tasks are finished. Brooms are available for use. Any wax drips on tables must be cleaned before leaving.

Trash:

All floral, decor, and supplies need to be removed before you leave so nothing is left behind. Due to limited space all boxes, larger floral arrangements and installations must be taken with the florist at the end of the night. Smaller trash must be bagged, tied, and placed in the trash truck outside the prep kitchen.

Timing:

Clean-up should be finished by the end of the event (within the contracted rental time). Venue access starts at 9 AM. Send-off is required by 11 PM and all vendors must be fully packed and out by 12 AM. If clean-up takes over an hour, vendors should coordinate with the client for an earlier send-off.

Florists must allow enough time and staff to complete all work by at least one hour prior to the ceremony. No nails, duct tape, gorilla tape, or command hooks may be used to attach items to the venue or staircase.

Candles:

Real candles & tapered candles (candle sticks) may be used as long as they are in a glass container that is taller than the flame and has a bottom to it (not a hurricane vase). If they are used without a vase they may not be lit during the event. They can be used for decorative purposes only.

If Not Removed:

Anything left behind may result in a clean-up or disposal fee billed to the couple, so we ask your help in making sure everything is taken out. If not returning for clean-up, florists must inform client, who becomes responsible for removal.
