The Sweetest Surprise | The Kistler’s

We are excited to share with you the new Mr. and Mrs. Kistler! These two are such a treat and really went above and beyond to make their day unique, and SO sentimental. You are probably going to shed a tear or two when you hear about the incredible surprise Courtney pulled off for Dylan!

Sentimental Surprise

Courtney and Dylan met a few years ago when they were both students at Vanderbilt! While they were dating, Courtney lived all the way across campus and would ask Dylan to meet her at a specific door. When he would get there he would always text her saying he was at their “special door.” It became their spot, and when Dylan was planning on popping the question- he decided the door was the perfect spot! As a wedding gift, Courtney emailed the chancellor of Vanderbilt and asked if they could have the door shipped from Nashville to Dallas for their wedding. That is what you see on the altar!

I mean.. how amazing is that? Moments and sentimental touches like this are what really make a wedding day! Not only is it so so thoughtful, but how amazing to have such a beautiful piece of their history right there on their biggest day yet!

When you think it Can’t get any Better

The weather on the Kistler’s big day was INCREDIBLE. The boys showed up and got to spend some time playing cornhole and doing a bit of putting on the turf. We always love to see the guys hanging out outside before the photos and the ceremony start.

The ceremony… come on. We LOVE flower grandmas, and these two loved being flower girls. They were living for it!

One moment we will never get tired of is watching our couples ring the bell at the chapel! It is hard to explain, but the couple is just so thrilled to be married, they are usually surrounded by their loved ones and their guests get to hear the bell on their walk to cocktail hour. It is just magical!

Congratulations Courtney and Dylan! We could not be happier for you, or more thankful that you are a Farmhouse Couple!

Memorable Moments | Jordan and Kyle

Happy 2023! Another year with some incredible, memorable weddings on the books, and we want to start out by sharing the stunning Schuttenhelm wedding! Jordan and Kyle came to play and had an absolutely unforgettable wedding day. You are going to be obsessed!

All The First Looks

Jordan is one sweet bride, and boy is she loved! We are all definitely used to seeing the traditional “first looks” with the groom, and the father of the bride. However, we could not have been more excited when Jordan wanted to do a first look with her bridesmaids AND the groomsmen. Recently there have been a lot of bridesmaid’s first looks, but the groomsmen one is new and SO fun! You can just see how much Jordan’s girls, and how much Kyle’s guys, love her too! All the boys were clapping and cheering for her the minute they turned around. It was a really fun moment, and one we are sure she will remember forever. (Also- the shot of Grandpa seeing Jordan for the first time was too special not to share!)

The BEST first look of all is when the double doors in the Chapel slide open, and the groom sees his bride for the first time. WOW. Kyle’s face said it all! It is always a really beautiful moment when the groom lays eyes on his bride for the first time in her dress.

Memorable P-A-R-T-Y

This party was EVERYTHING. We consider ourselves pros at gauging what a reception will be like, and we just knew that this crew would be a blast. Every last one of them was ready to roll and ready to hype their best girl and best guy up. And, boy was Jordan ready to go! She even changed into a party outfit that was to die for! And, like any good party- it is never really going until someone is thrown in the air.

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Shuttenhelm! We could not be happier for you, or more thankful that you are a French Farmhouse Couple!

The Sweetest Day | Dominique & Antonio

Happy Wednesday! If you are an avid reader of our blog, you have probably heard us say 1000 times how great our couples are… today is no different. Dominique and Antonio are our couple this week, and oh my gosh. Not only are they the sweetest, but they have such a cute family and had a breathtaking wedding day. You are going to LOVE it!

The Sweetest Moments

Every wedding day has moments that stand out. First looks are one of those universal moments that make everyone misty-eyed. Whether it is with the Father of the Bride, The Groom, Bridesmaids or the Groomsmen… they are all some of the best photos of the day. However, our “first look” of the day with Dominique is with her and her boys. It could not have been a more special moment. These two burst through the bridal suite doors and were THRILLED to see their gorgeous mom. Their faces say it all. Truly a Kodak, Pinterest-Worthy moment that I am sure they will all look back on for years and years to come.

Go Big!

We have probably said this a million times, but it is a blast to see what couples do on their wedding day. Everyone is so unique and has such a vision for their day, that no matter how many weddings we see, we are never any less excited to see how each one plays out. Dominique and Antonio did some GORGEOUS things at their wedding.

They had a fall wedding, which is always stunning. There are so many colors you can play with in the fall, and they totally did. From the minute their guests saw the front door of the Chapel, it was clear there would be some beautiful florals and incredible colors throughout. (Bonus: We love that they had a timeline at the entry, so guests knew what the night would look like! Such a good touch!)

After the ceremony, they had a live dove release! How cool is that? Not only is it a really unique touch, but the photos are amazing and so sentimental. They had all of their guests behind them cheering them on- the sweetest and the most perfect moment!

From top-to-bottom, Dominique and Antonio had a stunning day! We could not be more thankful that they are a French Farmhouse Couple!

Magical Wedding Day | Lauren and Matt

Everyone meet the new Mr. and Mrs. Rodell! What a magical day to be able to share with all of you. Lauren and Matt are two of the kindest people around. We just could not be more excited to share their big day with you.

Magical Mornings

There is nothing like the morning on a Wedding Day at the Farmhouse. It is really a magical feeling to see the bride and her girls as they come in and to watch their vendors come in and bring their vision to life. Every bride is so different, and their vision is so unique, but the one thing that is ALWAYS the same is that they are so excited to be here. That and they are surrounded by their best girls. All of them get to be pampered together, and just enjoy some quality time with each other before their girl starts her next chapter!

Change into your Dancing Shoes

After a STUNNING ceremony, the Rodells were eager to get the party started and let me tell you. Once it started, there was no stopping it. What a fun group. One thing all of the ladies in the world can appreciate is that Lauren made an outfit change to her dancing fit, and it was GORG. Not only was her dress incredible, but she and Matt changed into some amazing matching shoes. So fun, and so unique. And, some really cool photos to look back on for years to come. We are also LOVING their send-off item of no-mess confetti. Not only are these so fun, but they are foolproof. You never know when/, if a burn ban will go into effect so having a backup to sparklers, is never a bad idea.

A Dreamy Day at the Farmhouse | Hannah and Grant

Everyone, Meet the new Mr. and Mrs. Hazel! Back in August Hannah and Grant had the dreamiest wedding day! We could not be more in awe over their day. Every single moment and every single detail was so perfect for them, and we have been SO excited to share it with you.

Bold and Bright

Hannah and Grant are two of the nicest people around. Right when we met them and got to hear their vision for their big day, we couldn’t wait to see it come to life. And, boy, did they deliver. The bright colors and boho details with a little edge of modern… come on. It just could not be a more beautiful and special day. Most importantly, it was 110% them, which we are obsessed with!

Dreamy Details

The Hazel’s big day was absolutely dreamy! Each and every detail they chose was just stunning and so perfect for them. We LOVE seeing how each couple’s vision comes to life, and how their personalities shine throughout their day. Hannah and Grant had such beautiful and unique moments throughout their wedding and reception. They had such a fun idea for a “guest book.” Instead of a traditional “Sign Here” kind of book, they set up a year-long voicemail service, with its own phone number, where their friends and family can call and leave them well wishes and congratulations. Not only is this just fun, but SO sentimental. You will always always be able to play back what your loved ones said and remember them being at your wedding day.

A Thoughtful Occasion | Taylor and Hil

We have such a special one to share today! The brand-new Mr. and Mrs. Fradenburg, and their stunning wedding day. Truly, we cannot say just how beautiful and thoughtful this day was. Taylor and Hil really put their hands in every single piece of the day.

The Fradenburgs

From start to finish Taylor and Hil’s day was magical. Taylor and her crew were dropped off early in the day, and you could see that they were really taking it all in. We love love love hearing the bride and her squad throughout the morning, having a blast, and watching the day come together. It is such a treat! And, when the boys arrived, they just added to it. Everyone was so happy for their sweet friends, and we were right alongside them!

Thoughtful Details

The Fradenburgs did some amazing things for their wedding day! Every ounce of the venue and chapel was so full of life and full of some incredible vendors. A couple of things they did that stood out were, they transformed the turf area for cocktail hour into a bit of a lounge. They had some beautiful rentals come in, and made the space so comfortable and inviting for cocktail hour! From cocktail hour guests walked into the porch area and found their table on such a special seating chart. Everyone’s place card on the wall was embossed with the state where they are from or the state where Taylor and Hil met them. It was such a beautiful and thoughtful touch, that did not go unnoticed by the guests. It was a hit!

Every piece of the day came together so smoothly and was really perfect for Taylor and Hil. You could tell they took their time and chose vendors that they loved and trusted with their vision! It could not have been a more beautiful day.

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Fradenburg! You guys are so delightful, and we couldn’t be more thankful that you are a Farmhouse Couple!

A Story Worth Sharing | Audrey and Mauricio

Everyone meet the new Mr. and Mrs. Rosas! Audrey and Mauricio not only had a beautiful day at the French Farmhouse, with a stunning ceremony in the Chapel, but they have a story you won’t want to miss. These two were such a treat to have around, and we are so happy to be able to share their day.

Running to the Chapel

As soon as Audrey and Mauricio came to the Farmhouse for the first time, we knew just how incredible they were together. These two just adore each other, and their wedding day was a true-blue celebration of their love. One thing that really stood out that they added to their day was printing out “Their Story” for their guests. They had a quick SparkNotes version of their love story and placed it on each seat in the Chapel. Not only was it such a sweet way for guests to start the night, but, selfishly, we LOVED reading their story.

A quicker than SparkNotes version is… Audrey and Mauricio met at church! When it came time for Mauricio to propose he wanted to prove that he would put in the effort every day. So, the story goes, that he ran 146 miles to propose to Audrey- and she said yes!

The Day

Audrey and her girls rolled up to the venue, and we swear… their smiles didn’t drop a centimeter the whole day. Audrey and her happiness were so contagious all day. Once setup started, we couldn’t get over just how elegant and beautiful each touch was. Everywhere you turned there was another stunning detail being brought in. Since the Chapel has opened, one thing we have been obsessed with is when couples bring in live strings to play. They bring the perfect ambiance to the Chapel and are amazing for when the ceremony starts.

From start to finish- Audrey and Mauricio had a beautiful day, and really made it a celebration of how much they love each other and are excited to start their lives together.  Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Rosas! We could not be happier for you, and we are so thankful you are a French Farmhouse Couple!

Christmas in July | Kailey and Dylan

Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Lotfice! Not only are they one of the sweetest couples around, but their day is one for the books. Here is a little Christmas in July for you all.

The New Mr. and Mrs. Loftice

Kailey and Dylan are such a joy! We could not be happier for them to be a Farmhouse couple. When they came in and told us their vision, our jaws hit the floor. They really put in the work and created a Christmas dinner for all of their friends and family. Let’s be honest, nothing brings families together like holidays and weddings. So combing the two is a genius move.  Everywhere you turned there were personal details about the two of them, or the cutest, magical, heartwarming holiday touches.

Christmas in July

We always say that your wedding should be EXACTLY what you want. We also always say- if you are going to go for big- commit. Make it happen. Kailey and Dylan did it! They took the idea of a holiday wedding and went for it!  Every last detail was so on-theme and perfect. There were Christmas cookies, a naughty & nice seating chart, the groom’s cake was “Nanny’s secret recipe” (let’s be honest- what is a holiday without a secret recipe) and so much more. Everywhere you turned there was something beautiful, and festive. Plus, selfishly, it was SO fun to see the Farmhouse decorated for Christmas. 😉

Congratulations Kailey and Dylan! We are so thankful you are a French Farmhouse couple.

A Family Wedding | Cole and Gracie

Boy, are we excited to share this gorgeous day with you all. The new Mr. and Mrs. Scribner had a gorgeous day, with an incredible outdoor reception that will make your jaw drop. You are going to love it!

Family in the Venue

If you have ever been to the venue, you have met Kelsey or her mom, Michelle- Cole is one of Kelsey’s brothers- one of the triplets! Not only has this day been a long time coming, but it was so magical to have Cole and Gracie’s day at the Farmhouse. From start to finish their wedding was a true labor of love. Every detail was so thoughtful and meaningful. For example, some of Gracie’s family spent time making homemade cookies for their guests, they also had their sweet grandmas as their flower girls. Everywhere you looked you could see their personalities, and it was SO special. They really went the extra mile to share some of their favorite things with their friends and family.

Outdoor Reception

We have seen a lot of gorgeous receptions in the *almost* two years we have been open. But, there have only been a couple that made use of the turf for dinner and dancing, and we could not be more in awe of this one. The new Mr. and Mrs. Scribner really pulled out the stops and had such a stunning reception. The chandeliers (which were homemade by the mother of the bride!!!), the lights from the trees, and the gorgeous fall night- it was so magical.  It was the perfect place and party to celebrate these two! Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. Scribner!!

Meet the Young’s | Wedding | Brianna and Jonathan

Meet the Young’s!! These two are such a dream and had the most elegant day. We were all in awe of how intentional the Young’s were with making time for the small, beautiful moments throughout their day. We could not be more excited to share their big day with you!

Ladies First

99.999% of the time the ladies are rolling up to the venue before the boys do, ready to start their day! They are excited to enjoy a little glam, usually dressed in matching outfits and ready. to. roll. Brianna and her ladies were SO excited to spend the day together, and they really made it a family affair. All of her friends and her closest family members rallied, and spent the day celebrating their best girl!

From the minute the boys came through the door, you could tell they were just as excited as the ladies. These guys were there to get their buddy hitched, and nothing was going to stop them. They were all smiles and were having an absolute blast- their attitudes were SO infectious!

Details, please

It really is all in the details! The Young’s were on top of it when it came to those unique and special touches that made their day pop! From the minute their guests arrived, they were greeted by a string quartet playing at the ceremony site. I gotta say, there is nothing like live strings. They add some incredible ambiance to a space, and it is always a treat to have live music in the venue. In place of a normal guest book, they had guests take polaroids of themselves and sign next to them- so fun! They also had our friends, Bubbles and Brews, out on the turf. They are a perfect addition to the open bar, or in place of an open bar! Plus, how cute of a photo op?
