Love & Laughter | The Paxtons

Everyone meet the new Mr. and Mrs.Paxton! Woohoo! We are SO excited to share their day with you. It was full of love and a whole lot of laughter. This group was so fun to have around!

Day of Love and Laughter

Maddie and Taven had such a magical day! Not only was the decor stunning, but they infused their day with a lot of laughter. You could feel their joy through every step. One particular moment was Maddie’s first look with her Dad. Typically, this is a super emotional moment where our bride’s Dad sees her in her wedding dress for the first time. Maddie did have that moment, but she followed it up by handing her Dad a special gift. She was returning his credit card! His face when he realized it was PRICELESS. It was a funny joke and showed that Maddie and her Dad have such a fun and loving relationship. We loved seeing it!!

Those Special Touches

Another thing Maddie and Taven were intentional about was soaking in those moments they don’t want to forget, and letting everyone know how thankful they are for them. Every chance they could, they took the time to embrace the day, enjoy each other’s company and kick off their marriage!

They also added a beautiful touch by putting thank you cards at each place setting. Every person who came and sat down at the reception got to know just how thankful the new Mr. and Mrs. Paxton are that they came and celebrated the next step in life together!

Congratulations Maddie and Taven! We are so happy for you, and love that you are a French Farmhouse Couple!

Perfect Moments | Linzey and Hunter

We have another one of those perfect spring weddings to share with you today! We can’t believe how fast time is going these days.  All of our spring weddings are wrapping up, and summer is on the horizon! To keep the feeling of spring alive we want to share with you all Linzey and Hunter’s big day!

The Whole Family

One thing about Linzey and Hunter’s day that we LOVED was that their whole families were involved. Brothers, sisters, grandparents, nieces and parents… they were all there and excited to be a part of the day. They each got to be involved in every minute of the big day, which is always so magical. Their flower girl was Linzey’s niece, who completely was a STAR. She was so sweet and could not have been more excited to be in her Aunt Linzey’s big day.

Those Perfect Moments

Weddings are always full of tiny, perfect moments. All these magical little moments add up and make the perfect day for each couple. Linzey’s dress had an embroidered letter sewn into her dress. It was a note for her and Hunter from his grandparents, Mama JuJu and Pappa! It was such a special touch. After ceremony, there were two big standout moments. The first is ringing the bell!!

The Chapel at the French Farmhouse has a bell from a Chapel in France that every couple gets to ring after they are officially married! Often they will have it as a private moment, but Linzey and Hunter had their entire wedding party surrounding them as they rang it. They were all cheering and celebrating their friend’s new marriage!!

Another moment we loved, which many of our brides have been doing recently, is a private cake cutting. This is so fun because you get the photos and you have the special moment of cutting your wedding cake, but it isn’t a big announcement to interrupt the party. Either way is so fun, but we loved that Linzey and Hunter did what felt right.

Congratulations Linzey and Hunter! We are so happy for you!!

The Walkers Big Day | Natalie and Steele

Everyone, meet the new Mr. and Mrs. Walker!! Woohoo!! Natalie and Steele’s big day at the French Farmhouse was picture-perfect. It was sunny, there was an incredible vendor team and these two were surrounded by all of their friends and family. It was such a treat to see their day come to life. You are going to be obsessed!!

Bonus Time

We have LOVED getting to know Natalie and Steele throughout their planning process! It was so so fun getting to hear about their dreams for their big day and watching them come to life. We also got the chance to have Natalie around even more for her bridal session! She came out to the venue and got to wear her dress and have her hair and makeup done like it would be on her wedding day for some STUNNING photos with her photo team. It is always a treat when we get extra hours with our brides.

The Big Day

Natalie and Steele’s big day was incredible. They really paid attention to all of the details and made the day their own. They had “The Walkers” stir sticks in their signature drinks, beautiful florals, an amazing cake and groom’s cake, and most importantly all of their loved ones surrounding them. Their bridal party was the hype crew of your dreams! Any chance the bridesmaids and groomsmen got, they were hyping these two up! Which, is exactly what you want!!

The day went by so fast, and then it was time to get the Walkers officially married!! Once ceremony wrapped up, this crew was ready for the night, and they did not disappoint! The party was SO fun, and everyone was having such an incredible time. It was the perfect way for Natalie and Steele to kick off their lives together!

Congratulations, Natalie and Steele! We are so happy for you, and love that we get to call you a French Farmhouse Couple!

Todds Party of Two | Shelby and Cole

Wow, we are happy to share the new Mr. and Mrs. Todd’s big day with you! These two had such a beautiful and fun day, with a dream vendor lineup and a party to write home about. You are going to absolutely love it!

Mornings at the Farmhouse

Shelby and Cole are SUCH a fun, sweet couple. We have been waiting to see their big day come to life, and let us tell you… it did not disappoint. They had a really beautiful vision and brought in an incredible group of vendors to bring that vision to life. From the moment the girls arrived at the French Farmhouse, they were ready to celebrate their best girl. They all piled upstairs to get glam rolling, and the setup began. And, let us tell you… these girls were SO excited for Shelby. We love, love, love hearing them all upstairs and seeing them come to check out the venue as the details come to life!

Once the boys arrive, you know it’s getting close. These guys wanted some “walk-up” photos to kick off their time at the venue, and let us tell you- these pictures never disappoint. It is a really fun way to get the ball rolling for the boys!

Get the Party Started

Once everyone was here and dressed, it was almost time for the ceremony! So, we got Shelby and Cole to the altar and the new Mr. and Mrs. Todd got to greet their guests.

When guests walked over to cocktail hour, the details were really shining! They were greeted with charcuterie cups, a stunning seating chart and then a gorgeous stage for the Jordan Kahn Orchestra. And, the surprises didn’t stop! Once the party got rolling, there were cold sparklers during the first dance, late-night snacks on the dance floor and foam glow sticks for dancing. Whew! It was truly a night to remember!

Congratulations Shelby and Cole! We are so happy for you, and glad you are a Farmhouse Couple!

A Stunning and Romantic Party | Chanelle and Tanner

Chanelle and Tanner’s big day was one to remember! They had a stunning ceremony, and a party to write home about! You are going to have to pick your jaw up off the ground after this one!

The Tessman’s

Chanelle and Tanner are such a cool couple! They actually live in Venice, Italy where Tanner plays professional soccer, so having their wedding here at the Farmhouse was such a treat!

Once they started sharing their vision with us we knew it would be a wedding to remember. They wanted to create a timeless, elegant and romantic wedding that completely transformed into a party after dinner. And, let us tell you. They NAILED it.

Their tables and florals… come on. Stunning. And, had such beautiful, small details that really brought their personalities to the room. The small touches, like the chess piece placeholders, are the things that make the day go over the top.

PARTY

When we say this crowd danced until they couldn’t anymore… we really, truly, mean it! One thing Chanelle and Tanner did was have Emerald City, a live band, perform at their reception. We gotta say… live bands COMPLETELY transform the atmosphere of a reception. 90% of people were on the dance floor the entire time, dancing their hearts out.  We also want to take a moment for Chanelle’s second dress.

Congratulations Chanelle and Tanner! We are so excited for you, and are so happy you are a French Farmhouse Couple!

The Little Moments | Hannah and Brenden Bishop

Happy New Year, Everyone!! We could not be more thrilled to welcome in 2024, and to see all the weddings this year has in store. To kick off the year we are sharing the new Mr. and Mrs. Bishop’s wedding!! Hannah and Brenden are two of the loveliest people around, who had the most beautiful day filled with perfect moments. We can’t wait for you to see it!!

The Setup

Hannah and her girls rolled into the venue bright and early, and let us tell you- they are a fun group! Each girl was so excited to celebrate Hannah, and to get her married! After our girls arrived, vendors started showing up and bringing the vision to life. We are obsessed with how thoughtful each corner of their wedding was. The Greenery Wall that we have was transformed into a stunning photo wall, showcasing all of the love stories in their family that paved the path for them. The bar was complete with monogrammed cups, and the cakes were showstopping. They even brought their own customized cornhole boards for guests to use! They really thought of it all, and made each part of the venue their own!

First Look to Mr. and Mrs

We LOVE the moments when it all starts happening! The girls are dressed, waiting for their first look with their favorite girl, everyone is smiling for photos and then the bride and groom get to see each other for the first time. It is when all the magic begins! One thing we love, love, love that the Bishop’s did was a first look at the Chapel right after their first look with each other. They both decided that they wanted to see the Chapel fully decorated for the first time together. How magical is that?!

Once the “first looks” were all finished, Hannah officially became Mrs. Bishop and was ready to party!

Let us tell you- this was a PARTY. Guests were playing cornhole, dancing and looking for those late-night donuts! And, because Hannah and Brenden are Aggies, the night wouldn’t be complete without the Aggie War Hymn. And, for their final moments at the venue, they decided to do their private last dance on the patio, under the string lights, at the Chapel before making their getaway in our vintage car named Lucy!

Truly, this could not have been a more fun and magical wedding! Congrats Hannah and Brenden- we are so happy for you!

Something Blue | Claire and William

Can you believe how close we are to 2024?! It is hard to believe we are so close to the New Year, and our 2023 brides aren’t slowing down! William and Claire’s big day is way too beautiful not to share. It is timeless, elegant and one you are going to want to save to your Pinterest boards!

Something Blue

Claire and William- the new Mr. and Mrs. Lazenby! These two are about as sweet as they come, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to share their dad with you! Claire and her girls came in early in the morning, and let us tell you they were SO excited to celebrate their girl on her big day. It couldn’t have been more obvious that Claire is one loved lady, and that her girls mean the world to her. She had all of her girlies in the most beautiful blue dresses! They not only looked stunning, but they doubled as Claire’s “something blue”!

Photo Time

It is no secret that a big portion of the wedding party’s day is getting those perfect photos! There are always new, fun and creative ways to get some sentimental shots. One thing Claire did was a first look with the groomsmen. How fun?! This is a really cute way to get the boys involved, and give them a moment with the bride before the ceremony. Plus- the pictures are so sweet!

Once Claire and William were officially wed, the party kicked right off! They had foam glow sticks, smoke guns and a crew of people ready to celebrate. It could not have been a more beautiful day, with more lovely people!

William and Claire, we are so happy for you guys! Thank you for letting the French Farmhouse be a part of your big day. Congratulations!!

Perfect Little Details | Lauren and Jackson

Happy December, everyone! We are so so excited to share the new Mr. and Mrs. Strieby’s big day. Lauren and Jackson created such a beautiful, perfect and timeless day. You are going to LOVE it.

Big Day, Little Details

Right when the ladies showed up we could see that Lauren has an eye for the details. Her getting-ready PJs were ready and monogrammed with her new last initial. What a fun way to kick off a wedding! Then, all of the other details started rolling in. Stunning florals, beautiful copper place cards and a monogrammed dance floor… there was, truly, something special everywhere you looked. Plus- let’s not forget to take a moment for Lauren’s pearl gloves. We are OBSESSED.

Those Perfect Moments

One thing we have been seeing a lot that we never ever get tired of is all of the first looks. Lauren did a first look with her girls, then one with her dad and finally her first look with Jackson. Those are moments and photos, that you will always love looking back on and treasure. The perfect bonus before that is the moments the bride spends with her mom right before all of her first looks. They, usually, get almost everyone out of the room and spend a few minutes together getting the dress on and preparing for the rest of the day. It is such a special, and relaxing few minutes.

After Lauren and Jackson were officially married in the Chapel- the party was on! This group LOVED it. They handed out glasses, and foam glow sticks and partied until they couldn’t anymore. When it was time for the send-off, everyone lined up outside, bubbles in hand, and waited while Lauren and Jackson had their private last dance. Then they ran right off, officially husband and wife, and hopped into Lucy, the getaway car!

Congratulations Lauren and Jackson! You had such a beautiful day, and we are so so happy for you!

Beautiful Traditions | Christina and Stefan

Everyone say hello to the new Mr. and Mrs. Tsai! Christina and Stefan are such a lovely couple. They really brought tradition and personality together to their big day. You are going to love it!

Tradition

Right off the bat, we knew this would be a special day with a lot of beautiful moments. Christina and Stefan actually had three ceremonies! They had Vietnamese, Taiwanese and American ceremonies to honor the traditions of both sides of their families. Their American ceremony and reception were at the French Farmhouse, and we loved every second. They really kept their decor beautiful and minimal, while still incorporating incredible personal touches. They had a great photo-op on our greenery wall, where they hung a neon sign that said, “You’re my favorite.” We always love a neon sign moment, but this was especially fun because that is something they used to say to each other when they were dating. Another really fun thing they did was mix in some puns on their printed menu. Each guest had one at their place setting, and as they read they got a little chuckle.

Those Personal Touches

A fun fact about Christina is that she is a dog trainer! So, it was only right that her pup made an appearance on their big day. They got to have their first family portrait as a married couple, with Christina’s beloved pup. So fun!

If you are interested in having your dog be a part of your big day, we do allow them for photos and ceremony. You will just need to have someone on-site who brings them for photos and then takes them home, or somewhere else, after ceremony.

Christina and Stefan opted out of the traditional wedding cake for dessert! Instead, they had ice cream and boba. Recently, we have been seeing a lot of “second” desserts or a small cake with an extra dessert option on the side. Delicious AND fun!

Fun Farmhouse Couple | Shelbi and Garrett

Wow Wow! Another week, another incredible wedding to share with you all. This time we have a really fun couple, Shelbi and Garrett! These two were SO fun to have around and had a beautiful wedding. We just cannot wait for you to see it!

Fun Day at the Farmhouse

One thing we knew for sure was Shelbi and Garrett were going to have a whole lot of fun on their big day! These two were just so excited to have their wedding day come together and even more excited to get married! Shelbi and her girls rolled in early in the morning to start their glam, and they were just having the best time! Meanwhile, vendors were working hard to bring their vision to life downstairs.

We LOVED how they incorporated their furry friend into their big day. Their beloved pup wasn’t actually at the wedding, but any chance they could there was an homage to their furry family member. They had stir sticks at the bar and even had the pup painted on their custom champagne bottle. SO fun!

Stand Out Moments

There are certain parts of weddings at the Farmhouse that always stand out. One of those is that right after the couple is married, they’ve walked back down the aisle, and they get to ring the bell. It is the best!! They can’t stop smiling, and their wedding party is usually all around them. It really is such a special moment, and the photos are perfect.

Another stand-out moment is any first look! Bridesmaids, father of the bride, brother of the bride, grandma, grandpa- you name it. No matter who is on the other side, everyone in the room sheds a tear or two. It is just magical to be able to watch families and friends see their best girl dressed and ready to marry her best friend.

Congratulations Shebi and Garrett! We are so happy for you!
