Rachel and Joe! We love love loved this wedding, and how they transformed the Farmhouse for their big day. Every detail was stunning and elegant, with the perfect touch of fun. They really created such a gorgeous day with an effortless Garden Party elegance, that was PERFECT for spring.

 

Garden Party Touches

Rachel and Joe’s incredible wedding day was one for the books. They were so thoughtful in choosing what they wanted in their wedding day, and it really showed throughout the day. One of the major things we were obsessed with, was how they tied in elements that felt like a Garden Party.  Their seating chart, for example, was so cute and was a really cool way to use the greenery wall, in a way we have never seen before. We really love seeing how each couple uses the Farmhouse, everyone finds new ways to make the place theirs.

Custom and Color

Since this was a springtime wedding, Rachel and Joe leaned into playing with amazing colors! Their cute blue that was brought in throughout the day, and the colors of the flowers were amazing. You may also notice an adorable, and furry, member of the wedding party. Molly, the golden! Rachel and Joe have two adorable pups, Molly and Callie. Molly got the honor of being their flower girl! However, both of them had wedding day cocktails named in their honor. Not only is it adorable, but it is SO fun to have specialty wedding day cocktails. Pick your favs, give them a cute name and boom. Drinks that everyone will remember, and will be special to you. Finally, we really can’t overlook the five… FIVE… cakes and then the stacks of macarons. If one cake is good, five cakes are better.

We are back to showing off some of our amazing couples and their big days! Brooke and Ryan had such an amazing rainy day full of plan-b ceremony spots, incredible vintage details and lots and lots of special touches. We love that they are a Farmhouse Couple, and love that we get to show off their big day.

 

Rainy Day Leads to Plan B

Once you get to the week of your big day, there are certain things you just can’t control. The weather is number one. All of those people that say, “rain on your wedding day is good luck” mean really really well, but sometimes that isn’t comforting. We are so lucky that we get to offer amazing rain options for your ceremony. Brooke and Ryan planned on getting married outside in front of our amazing tree, but when the weather blew in they had to pivot their plan. Since they had a small enough guest list (max 150 for the porch), they chose to use our stunning porch. We do love that they spoke and prayed together at the tree before the ceremony. So many amazing couples have made their vows and promises to each other there. We loved that they added to how special that spot is.

This was our very first porch wedding, and we could not be more in love with how it looks. The weather, the time of year and their decor really worked together to make it seem like this was the plan all along. Since it was fall the sun was setting earlier, and the clouds made it a pretty dark day overall, so when they lit their candles and dimmed the lights on the porch… our jaws all dropped. The ceremony ended up being so warm, cozy and intimate.

 

Vintage Chic

Brooke and Ryan really had such attention to detail with every piece of their day. They were wildly intentional about every moment and touch they added. From the get-go, everything was perfect and unique to them. The more everyone was setting up, and getting dressed, the more obsessed we were with each touch. The vintage keys, Brooke’s converse and her girls’ mix and match dresses. Everything was so beautiful.

Once the ceremony was completed, they really got the night going. They did a quick cocktail hour while Brooke and Ryan had their portraits done, and then the live music kicked in. Everyone got out of their chairs and was loving the party. It was amazing to see how the live music carried right into their exit. The horns from the band followed them out and played while they made their getaway in one of the coolest cars!

Become a French Farmhouse Couple!

Charity and Chris are officially The Bentley’s! It is so so fun to meet our incredible couples, and then get to see them become husband and wife. Charity and Chris had a beautiful day, with their entire family surrounding them. They were beaming through every minute of it, and we could not be happier that they are a French Farmhouse Couple! You are going to love seeing how they made the venue theirs!

 

Get the Entire Family Involved

Charity and Chris are such a fun couple! If you just read our blog about how they met, you will see what we mean. Aside from them being some of the nicest people, we have come across, one thing that stuck out to us was how much they wanted their families involved. Right down to their tiniest and newest family members! The Bentley’s have three gorgeous nieces that they wanted to be involved throughout the day. Charity really is super auntie. She had those girlies in the bridal suite getting ready with her and her ladies, and they were loving it. You can also see a snap of Chris being a super uncle when the smallest of the three decided she needed a quick snooze after the big day she had.

 

Everyone On The Dance Floor

This was a group that LOVED to dance. It is always a blast to see everyone get out there and move a little. And let us tell you, everyone on this guest list was there to dance. Not only does it make the party a riot, but boy there are some fun pictures to come out of it. Plus, check out that special touch Charity and Chris added to their dance… just some casual sparklers. So fun!!

The new Mr. and Mrs. Johnson had a STUNNING wedding at the French Farmhouse.  They had such a magical day surrounded by their closest friends and family. Brooke and Blake really made the venue their own and added some gorgeous touches that put their intimate ceremony over the top.

All of us at the venue really couldn’t contain our excitement f0r Brooke and Blake’s big day. We have loved getting to know them, and have been waiting to see how they would transform the Farmhouse. Brooke and Blake are another one of those special couples that booked when all we really had was a vision to describe to them. Thankfully, they jumped right on board and became a part of the French Farmhouse family and one of our Foundation Couples. 

As excited as we were for their big day, no one was as amped as Brooke. She has been SO excited for this, and could not have been giddier to become Mrs. Johnson. For a little more insight into their relationship, how they met and got engaged, check out our blog from back when they booked. You will love, love love hearing about their relationship from Brooke’s perspective.

 

Intimate Ceremony and Reception

Brooke and Blake love their closest friends and family so much. It is so obvious that they are close to them, and want them to be a part of their journey. Which, is why their intimate group of people was so special to see. Back when they got engaged, Blake set it up so they would see all of their family right after, so it seemed only right that those same people were just as important on their big day. Their ceremony really had some amazing touches. They used the Farmhouse pillars but added those amazing pieces hanging from the tree, in place of an altar. So unique and stunning.

 

Lauren and Mike were such a dream to have in the venue back in March. They are just some of the loveliest people, who were so so grateful and excited to be married. You will totally be able to see what we mean, when you see the incredible pictures that Wolfheart Weddings took.

 

Unforgettable Moments

The Morris’ really had some unforgettable moments that made their day all the more special. One very important guest at the wedding was Lauren and Mike’s daughter, Mia. We have said it a whole bunch of times on the blog, but kiddos steal the show. Mia was AMPED about the day, and could not have been a happier little nugget. She was laughing and smiling all day long. Seeing Lauren and Mike so excited to be married, and excited that Mia could be there was just so incredible.

There was a bit of a tear-jerking moment when Lauren did a first look with her Dad. Wow. There really isn’t anything like a Dad and their daughter. Those are always some of the best shots to look at! It was also super neat, because they chose to do it on the balcony inside the venue that is right outside of the Bridal Suite. It is always amazing to see how each couple utilizes the venue!

 

A Bridal PARTY

Lauren and Mike had such a fun wedding party! There were a couple more groomsmen than bridesmaids, and I don’t think it bothered those guys one bit. They were there to have a blast. The group of them were joking and laughing every second of the day. I am not sure how they got any serious photos. Once the party got started there was no stopping them. Every last groomsmen and bridemaid were there right alongside Lauren and Mike, keeping the party alive.

Oh, Buddy! We have such a fun wedding to share with you guys today. I know, we say that every week. But, we just have the best couples. Alissa and Tyler had such a beautiful day, with incredible details. (spoiler: like bringing their adorable dog!) that reflected their personalities. It was stunning!

 

A Dog in the Family

Alissa and Tyler are such a fun couple, with a really great story. They met during this whole COVID thing and got married during it too. How does that even happen?! Such a unique story that they will be able to share throughout the years. When it came time for their wedding, they knew that their trusty pooch, Ellie, would be by their sides. We are a venue that has a soft spot for dogs. I am sure if you have come by the venue and met Kelsey, you would have also had the chance to meet her best buddy, Jackson (if you heard “Giselle” or “donkey” that is also Jackson). He is the venue pup. When we heard that Alissa and Tyler wanted Ellie involved, we just loved it! She was a ring bearer and spent the day with the girls. She made for the cutest addition to photos, and the best kind of show-stealer. So fun!!

 

Live Music and DELICIOUS Food

Every single day we meet incredible couples that have found new ways to amp up their wedding. We are always so so excited to see what is important to each couple, and what they will bring in to make their day unique. Alissa and Tyler had some amazing ideas.  First- Food Trucks during cocktail hour! How exciting is that? They had a truck called Easy Slider and one called Cinco Taco. Both are Dallas-Based and made some yummy food. They were also perfect for keeping your guests occupied during cocktail hour, while the couple wraps up photos. Second- Donut cake, and s’more’s to-go. I think that is enough said. Lastly- the live music! Just downright fun having live music in the venue!! We loved every second of the Cope’s wedding! Congrats you guys!

The Brown’s had such a fun wedding! Madie and Anthony are high school sweethearts who were beyond excited to have their big day come to life! They had such a stunning day and were over the moon for every second of it. They really made the venue theirs and created such a beautiful and meaningful day.

 

Outdoor Ceremony

We have been having quite a few ceremonies inside on the blog recently. So, having this gorgeous outdoor ceremony to share with you guys feels like such a treat! We love our indoor ceremonies, but it is always fun to see how many ways the venue can be used, and how couples make an outdoor ceremony theirs. Madie and Anthony had their heart set on getting married outside. It is one of the reasons they chose to be a Farmhouse Couple. Seeing Madie’s vision come to life was so special! Since they came through the doors of the Farmhouse, we knew she was confident in what she wanted. They added a little bit of frosting to the two-becoming-one tree, and let the rest speak for itself. It was stunning!

 

High School Sweethearts With a Vision

Madie and Anthony leaned into a stunning, romantic and moody color pallet. One thing that is so cool, and unique, that the Brown’s did was their centerpieces. More often than not, we see a lot of flower centerpieces. They are always gorgeous and os different from the last wedding! But Madie and Anthony opted for some cool lanterns and greenery that flowed with the rest of their decor seamlessly. In addition to their centerpieces, they added so many special touches that made the day unique to them. We love when we see couple’s personalities all throughout the wedding! There were socks with Anthony’s face on them, a globe guestbook, and a bridal party that was having a blast all day long. Such a special day, and so much laughter for everyone.

Become a French Farmhouse Couple!

We are beyond excited to share the Webb Wedding with you guys! Olivia and Jackson had quite the week leading up to their big day and still managed to make the absolute most of their wedding. It was stunning!

 

What Ice Storm?

That big ol’ ice storm during February really scarred all of us. A little PTSD running through Texas at the mention of any kind of winter storm. Unfortunately, that was the week of Olivia and Jackson’s wedding. Most couples would have been squirming and thinking of alternate plans, but not the Webb’s. These two were determined that their big day would go on, and boy did it. Every vendor rallied and came out to make their wedding a gorgeous success. It was stunning, and every detail came through without fail.

 

 

Vendor and Bride

Olivia is a really cool bride for us! Not only is she forever a Farmhouse Bride, but we have been so lucky to work with her as a vendor. She owns an incredible Monogram shop in Dallas with her Mom and really can make anything prettier and customized. She is our very first bride to put a custom decal on the dance floor. It is just the perfect bit of frosting to add if you aren’t looking for a full dance floor. (All decals will need to be approved by Kelsey and laid by professionals) Everywhere you looked, you could see the incredible details Olivia creates every day. It was so neat to see how she brought that into her own big day!

We could not be more excited to share some special moments from the new Mr. and Mrs. Sweet’s big day! Emily and Aaron were such a delight to have at the venue, and we LOVE how their wedding turned out. Not only was it a stunning day, but it was full of sentimental moments.

Sentimental Moments

A wedding day is naturally full of some of the most special and sentimental moments of your life. There is just no way around it. Emily and Aaron really leaned into that and created some bonus sentimental moments for themselves and their families. We were in awe of how intentional these two were with making these moments happen. One, in particular, was a surprise for Emily’s sister. Her sister and Dad never got to have a father-daughter dance at her wedding. Emily decided they could make up for it at hers. Needless to say, her sister was shocked and emotional! It was beautiful to see how much it meant to everyone, that they got to make that happen.

All the Extra Touches

Emily and Aaron are a couple that knows what they want! They created such a stunning day and were so so proud of every piece of it. They added some extra unique touches, with the help of their vendors! Since the Sweet’s opted for an indoor ceremony, we got to do a flip with the help of their incredible coordinator from Veil and Vine! Once the flip happened, everything really took the extra step and went over the top. Just look at those Marquee letters in front of the Sweetheart’s Table!? Gorgeous and such a fun touch, especially in photos.

Laci and Ryan, the new Mr. and Mrs. Pollard! Not only was their day a gorgeous winter wedding, it was full of laughter, dancing, and love! So gorgeous to be able to see, and so much fun to look back on. These two are another one of our Foundation Couples, so they really hold a special place within the venue. We loved seeing their day come to life, and are thrilled to be able to share it with you.

 

The Wedding Fragrance

There are so many insanely cool parts of Laci and Ryan’s day. From the get-go, these two made space for really special and intentional moments. One of the neat things they had set up was their exchange of gifts! They gifted each other their Wedding Day Fragrances, which is a seriously cool way to remember your day. Some brides and grooms decide that their all-the-time cologne or perfume will be what they wear on their wedding day, or maybe the fragrance they wore when they first started dating, and brand new smells. No matter what you decide, the scent will always remind you of your special day. Since these two gifted their fragrances to each other, they also got some gorgeous pictures of them reading each other’s letters. Such special moments!

 

Winter Wedding with A Riot of a Reception

Laci and Ryan had an amazing indoor ceremony! We are getting pretty darn good at the reception flip, and love to see how the room transforms between ceremony and reception. It’s quick and amazing! Once the reception got going to celebrate the Pollard’s, there was really no stopping it. Everyone was moving and grooving! Major shoutout to the gentleman who was in the middle of the dance circle, doing flips and making the crowd belly laugh.
