A Stunning Wedding with a Flip | Linda and Luken

The Baker’s big day was a stunning one! We are so excited that they chose the French Farmhouse as their venue,  and that it went so well. Linda and Luken put so much time and effort into creating their magical day, and it just shines through their photos.

All-Around Stunning

Linda and Luken are just an absolute joy to have around. They are one of our “Foundation Couples” that booked when the venue was still being built. They really made use of all the space the venue has to offer, which we LOVED to see. They decided on an indoor ceremony in front of the Three Ring Door, and it could not have been more beautiful. The experience they created for guests started from the moment they walked through the front doors. Stunning pictures placed in the vintage armoire, mantels decorated and marquee letters… they just went for it. It is so fun to see how each couple makes the venue theirs, and Linda and Luken did not disappoint!

Flipped It

The Baker’s decided that an indoor ceremony was stunning and just right for them. So, we flipped the venue! A flip is a little extra work, but totally doable. It does require that you have a wedding planner, who has an assistant. Along with them, we will provide 3 extra sets of hands to make it happen. It takes about 45 minutes, which is thankfully the perfect amount of time for cocktail hour. The guests got to hang out on the porch, and the back lawn with snacks and drinks. Just long enough to mingle, before the real party started.

We gotta tell you… this group knew how to party. There was dancing, but there was also an above-average amount of acrobatics. I’m talking flips, splits, and handstands. This group was wild, and we loved every second of it!

Bright and Vintage Wedding Vibes | Lauren and Rob

We are back! We took last week off from posting a wedding, and are coming back with a bang! Lauren and Rob had a stunning and wildly fun day at the Farmhouse. They decked the place out and really went the extra mile to make their day unique and memorable.

A Long Time Coming

How amazing are the shots from Lauren and Rob’s big day (shoutout Machala Brown Photography)? Every detail is so Pinterest-worthy and gorgeous. These two, the new Mr. and Mrs. Enriquez, had such a beautiful day. It was full of so so many laughs, sweet and memorable moments. We wouldn’t have expected anything less. This wedding has been a long time coming for these two, and I think they made their dreams come true. We have a blog that goes a little into their backstory and their engagement, and lemme tell you..literal blood, sweat, and tears went into it.

Vintage Details

Lauren and Rob created such a gorgeous beautiful day. Their decor was so incredible, and they threw in some really beautiful custom touches. Their place settings were unreal. Not only did they use some stunning jewel tones throughout, but they put key placeholders at each seat. Which is a gorgeous, simple, vintage touch that really contributed to the overall feeling of the day. They also brought in big marquee letters that make for a really cool photo-op. Guests love a photo spot, and if you have a wedding hashtag, their pictures are so fun and easy to look back on! In addition to their amazing watercolor bar sign, that showed their custom drinks, they had a timeline made for everyone to see. Not only was it pretty, but a great idea to keep guests in the loop on when to be ready for the big moments of the night.

A Gorgeous Celebration | Emily and Jessica

We are so excited to be able to share some behind-the-scenes info and pictures from Emily and Jessica’s big day! You will be able to see in all of the shots just how gorgeous their day was.

Classic With a Twist

Emily and Jess did such an amazing job of blending the traditional wedding moments, with some fun, unique and gorgeous twists that made the day all the more special. One thing that really stood out was a moment during their ceremony. Lots and lots of brides talk about candle ceremonies, or the “sand pour” that symbolizes the two families coming together as one. Emily and Jess decided that they would put their spin on that, by having a potted tree and each putting in soil. That way they can watch it grow over the years, and have memories of it from their wedding day!

Get That Party Started

These two really know how to throw a party. They had some incredible drinks flowing, (in their amazing custom cups) and the music was going. These two, and their friends and family love to dance. It was so fun to be able to see all of them partying together, and snapping pics in front of that amazing “Better Together” neon sign and getting some pictures in the photo van. They had guests take a picture in the van, and put it in the guest book. It was seriously so fun and special. Every single person there was having an absolute blast!

Congrats you two! So thankful you are a Farmhouse Couple!

A Labor of Love | Jaci and Dallas

I don’t think that anyone can put into words just how special Jaci and Dallas‘ big day was. It was timeless, stunning, and full of so much love and friendship. It is so incredible to be able to call the new Mr. and Mrs. Hook, a Farmhouse couple!

Timeless

Jaci and Dallas’s wedding day could not have been more fun to watch come together. The entire day, start-to-finish was full of endless amounts of friendship. It was truly a labor of love. Dallas even built the stunning altar that they had their ceremony under. He was out the day before with a couple of other guys putting it together. Putting it under the two-becoming-one tree was such a beautiful touch to the ceremony. And, all the more special that he built it!

Every detail the Hook’s chose was timeless and incredibly beautiful. A gorgeous custom wood sign was put on the greenery wall on the porch. The wood signs are a great option if you want a little extra touch, but the neon isn’t quite your style. They are fun, subtle, and super easy since you don’t need electricity.

A Well-Loved Couple

It is really easy to see just how infectious these two are. Just look at their head table. Which, might just be the head table of all head tables. Not only are the decorations magnificent, but their wedding party is about 30 people. You just can’t be unlikable and have a wedding party like that. Every one of them looked like they were having a blast, and Jaci and Dallas couldn’t keep smiles off of their faces. Just take a peek at that photo of the groomsmen tossing Dallas around. This group was here to have a good time!

Wonderful Day with Longtime Friends | Brooke and Tanner

Brooke and Tanner! As longtime friends of the venue, their day was so special to host. Brooke and Tanner had a marvelous day, that was so lively and elegant. We could not be happier that they chose the Farmhouse for their big day.

Farmhouse Engagement and Wedding

Brooke and Tanner were our very first engagement here at the French Farmhouse. We have a blog all about their engagement and how Tanner pulled off a really beautiful and memorable surprise for Brooke.  Tanner has been a longtime friend of Kelsey and the Scribner family, so having him propose at the venue was incredible. For them to want to get married here was even more amazing. We love it when friends and family want to have their special day and events at the venue.

Magic in the Air

Brooke and Tanner did a wonderful job of creating such a special day. They really brought in some beautiful details that made their day all the more perfect. We LOVE when people put custom pieces and signs on the greenery wall. It lines up perfectly with the aisle for an outdoor ceremony. Making it such a unique touch for pictures of the wedding party walking into the ceremony. The Buxton’s put that amazing “Mr.  & Mrs. ” neon sign up, that not only looks gorgeous in ceremony pictures but is so much fun for guests to take photos with throughout the night. Everyone loves a good Insta photo at weddings, and touches like this are the perfect photo-op.

A Spectacular Day at the French Farmhouse | Kaitlyn and Kyle

Kaitlyn and Kyle were a dream to have around! Their day was spectacular from start to finish. We loved seeing just how excited these two were to start the next chapter of their lives together. Truly such an amazing day celebrating the New Mr. and Mrs. Holman!

Go Big!

Kaitlyn and Kyle really seemed like they had fun adding special touches and personalized pieces to their wedding day. We LOVE to see that. If there is ever a day to go all-out, we think it is your wedding day. Kaitlyn gave all of her girls cups with their names on them, which is an amazing bridesmaid gift. Totally fun, and they can use them forever. Another really great thing Kaitlyn did, was put her girls (and herself) in comfy comfy shoes. While wedding days are magical and so much fun, they can be long days. Especially by the time you are on the dance floor, but none of these girls were slowing down. They could have danced until morning.

Rain? A  Flip?

Rain happens… we would love to say that rain has never affected a ceremony, but it has. Kaitlyn and Kyle had a bit of a rainy day and had to pivot their ceremony site. Thankfully, the venue is just as stunning in the rain, and there are a few really amazing spots to tie the knot at the French Farmhouse.  All of them equally as beautiful. If you are wanting to get married outside, we recommend having a Plan B. Two other, amazing, options we have are The Porch and the Reception area.

The porch is incredible, lined with windows, and has a gorgeous mantle to get married in front of. If you have 150 guests or less, it is a beautiful, cozy option.

Kaitlyn and Kyle’s ceremony took place in the reception area. It went perfectly, and we did a mini-flip. Pulling tables in, and setting up for the party. If you end up wanting a full-flip, where we have ceremony chairs set-up and then need to bring out tables, set-them, and decorate for the ceremony, it takes a bit more. You will need a planner, who has at least one assistant, and then we will provide a few more people. The flip will. take about 45 minutes. The perfect amount of time for a cocktail hour!

Lifelong friends have stunning day | Emily and Kyle

Emily and Kyle, the new Mr. and Mrs. Hodges, had such a special day at the French Farmhouse. Not only is their story incredible, but their day was amazing. It was truly a day full of love and excitement, that had a lifelong build-up!

A Lifelong Lead-Up

These two seriously have one of the coolest stories. Emily and Kyle’s sweet moms were friends long before these two came along. So, these two have known each other forever. After some time at different schools, and continuing to run into each other over the years, they took it as a sign, and here we are! We have a blog about these two, that goes deeper into their story, engagement and how they found the Farmhouse. To see a couple like them get married at the venue was such a treat.

Personalized

With a day that had as much build-up as Emily and Kyle’s, they had to make sure it was just right! They brought in and made so many cool things happen for their wedding day. They had custom koozies for their guests, a photo booth, and a signature cocktail named after their beloved pooch, Cooper. Every minute and detail of their day was stunning and memorable.

A Beaming Bride | Chelsea & Travis

Have  you guys ever seen a happier bride? This gem, Chelsea, was BEAMING all day long. Her and Travis were so fun to have around the Farmhouse, and we could not be happier for them.

A Loved & Beaming Couple

There is no denying how loved these two are. Just look at their gorgeous wedding party. With 11 bridesmaids and 8.5 groomsmen, there was no lack of support for these two throughout the day. Although Travis may have played himself a little bit, by bringing in that one tiny groomsman. He was adorable, a little bashful and unsure of this whole wedding thing, but adorable. Those are the kinds of things we love to see. Involving family down to the tiniest member, and the stories that are unique to your day.

Speaking of unique stories. I am not sure we could tell you guys about Chelsea and Travis’ big day, without mentioning a venue-first. We won’t name names, to be sure and not embarrass anyone. But… a certain someone, who may or may not have gotten married this day, may or may not have completely ripped his pants before the ceremony. Thankfully, the venue has amazing and generous neighbors! Neighbor Mary Jean drove right over and mended his pants without even getting out of her car.

A Unique Touch

Along with all of the unique stories that come along with your day, we are OBSESSED with seeing how everyone makes the venue theirs. Chelsea and Travis did an incredible job of making the day their own. It was so cool to see their florals (shoutout to Betsy Baldwin), and how they created a gorgeous January wedding that was still full of life and color. Just plain gorgeous.

Congratulations Chelsea and Travis! We could not be happier for you guys.

The Most Delightful Fall Wedding | Baylee & Geo

I am not sure we can say enough about Baylee and Geo. They are just a delightful couple! Not only are they a blast, but they are in that super special group of couples that saw the Farmhouse vision, and booked the venue when there wasn’t much to it.  If you want to hear a little bit about Baylee and Geo meeting each other, getting engaged and finding the Farmhouse, check out our blog about their story!

A Very Autumnal Wedding

Baylee and Geo’s wedding day was so beautiful, unique and full of endless amounts of love. Baylee and her girls rolled into the venue early in the day, and the day got moving with vendors and bridal party fluttering about. Each piece of decor brought in throughout the day, really showcased the bride and groom’s personalities. This was our first wedding where a dance floor was brought in, and it was incredible. Geo is an amazing artist, and spent time creating a series guessing what Baylee’s wedding dress would look like. So, the art you see on the dance floor is a Geo Kennedy creation! They even had them printed on masks that were around for guests.

Personality at The Forefront

Baylee and Geo are really just a blast to have around. These two are not shy in the slightest, and especially aren’t shy about how excited they are to be married! We also love that they weren’t shy about what they wanted in their wedding.Every second was truly just them. The ceremony had live music, and they exchanged traditional and personal vows- which didn’t leave a dry eye. When the party got going, there was no slowing it down. These two love to dance. Baylee even had a little surprise up her sleeve with her dad, in the form of a big choreographed dance. They left the whole room in stitches of laughter. After a Babe’s chicken dinner and lots of dancing, the guests lined-up with light sabers to send the bride and groom off. It could not have been more “Baylee and Geo”!

A Thoughtful Fall Wedding | Desiree and Jeremy’s big day

We are so excited to share Desiree and Jeremy’s big day with you guys. They did so many unique things that were one hundred percent them. You can really see their story and their personalities shine through every inch of their wedding.

Desiree and Jeremy

The French Farmhouse team has been looking forward to Desiree and Jeremy’s wedding for a hot minute. They were one of our very very first couples to tour The Farmhouse, and we knew they were one of our couples from the minute we met them. After they toured, and booked, they even did their engagement photo shoot in the Farmhouse when it wasn’t completely finished. (We got lucky and I am able to share some of those pics too!) They really have been a part of the process in bringing the venue to life, from the very beginning. It made their day all the more special to see come to life.

Make the Big Day Yours

Desiree and Jeremy brought so much meaning into their wedding day. Small details that really meant a lot to them, everything was so thoughtful. One of them being their motorcycle. Their very first date over 7 years ago, Jeremy took Desiree on a motorcycle ride. So bringing it along, just made perfect sense.

As far as their decor, it just could not be more gorgeous. We love how they leaned into fall, and made use of greenery and pops of color. Beautiful. The amazing SN Photography came out to capture their day, and really did an amazing job of showing off the detail and heart that this wedding had.
